It just so happens that we have many areas that need servants.
That's where you come in. Serving at FRC is more than being a warm body in a room or filling a time slot, it's about building relationships for Christ. With that in mind, our prayer is that you'd be open to signing up to serve in one or more of the following areas. Please view the descriptions for each area and also the sign-up below.

Other Ways to Serve
The Table Server
- Description of Ministry: Serving a meal at The Table on a Wednesday evening in the church fellowship hall for the families attending Wed evening programs.
- Meeting Time, When, How Often, Etc.: Arrive between 5:00 pm & 5:15 pm to help serve the meal until 6:15 pm. Clean up following, if available. Even if you are part of Adventure Kids, a small group study, or choir, you will be able to serve and attend those ministries. If possible, we would like for you to be on a rotation this fall of every 4-6 weeks, although this is not required. This means you would serve 2-3 times through the end of 2021.
- Commitment Involves: Serving prepared food. If you can help prepare too, let us know. Additional volunteers who can help with prep of food Wed afternoon are welcome. As well as those who can help with cleanup on some weeks or make cookies or bars for desserts. Lisa or Jo will assist the volunteers each Wed.
- Volunteers Needed: 3 or 4 people each Wednesday evening (can be individuals, couples, groups, families, friends, etc).

Greeter
- Description of Ministry: Greet on Sunday morning before worship begins
- Meeting Time, When, How Often, Etc.: As scheduled - could be every 6 -12 weeks depending on number of volunteers and worship service (1st or 2nd)
- Commitment Involves: Arrives 15 - 20 minutes prior to worship on the Sunday you are scheduled to greet
- Special Skills: Extend a warm greeting to all of those coming to worship

Coffee Server
- Description of Ministry: Provide coffee either after the 8:30 am worship service during the fellowship time or before the 10:30 am worship service
- Meeting Time, When, How Often, Etc.: As scheduled - could be every 6 -12 weeks depending on number of volunteers and worship service (1st or 2nd)
- Commitment Involves: Making the coffee before the service and serving. Those who serve for the 8:30 worship service serve during the fellowship. Those who serve for the 10:30 worship service serve or have the coffee available for the worship service in the front foyer. Commitment also involves emptying the coffee pots.
- Special Skills: None, we will train you on the machines - they are simple to use)

Nursery Attendant
- Description of Ministry: Helping out in nursery during the worship service
- Meeting Time, When, How Often, Etc.: Once a week for 1 hour. Currently, we have a schedule when you can sign up online on FRC's website.
- Commitment Involves: Serve a few Sundays a year. Arrive 15 minutes prior to the worship service.
- Special Skills: Enjoy kids

Fall Festival
- Description of Ministry: Trunk or treat, games, and snacks for SF area kids at FRC
- When.: (Wednesday, October 27th - 6:30 - 8:00 pm)
- Commitment Involves: Decorating a trunk and manning a trunk at the Fall Festival (all candy provided) or helping during the Fall Festival
- Special Skills: Able to make a decorated trunk (Pinterest has lot of ideas), enjoy kids
- Volunteers Needed: Many trunk makers and helpers (various tasks) - this is HUGE community outreach event

Funerals
- Description of Ministry: Help serve lunch following a funeral or help provide cakes or bars per family request
- When.: No meeting - you will be called as needed
- Volunteers Needed: Depends on size of funeral

Other Ways to Serve
- Church Library: Work with others to maintain the church library
- Missions: Local, regional, & international (watch for information throughout the year)
- Prayers & Squares Quilter: Makes quilts for FRC's Prayers & Squares ministry on Thursday afternoons
- Nurture Meal Preparer: Meets mid morning - early afternoon as needed to make frozen Nurture meals
