FRC's Tree of Giving
FRC is partnering with Easter River Foster Parent Network (ERFPN) to provide a memorable Christmas this year to children who are placed through licensing agencies. These include children in foster, adoptive, kinship and safe family homes. Now and through Sunday, November 28th, two "Tree of Giving" trees have been set up in the fellowship hall and also the front foyer. These trees have tags of gift suggestions that people can take and then purchase a gift for these kids for Christmas. Gifts include: new hoodies, books, gift cards, new pj's, games, or craft items for children from newborn to teenagers. The purchased gifts will be collected at FRC until Sunday, December 5th. There is a large gift box in the fellowship hall where all unwrapped gifts can be placed. Shortly after that, we will deliver the gifts to ERFPN, and then they will have a time where families with foster children are able to come and pick up items for each child in their home. Won't you join us in making this Christmas just a little brighter this year for kids in foster care in our community! |
