Discipleship with CP
Discipleship class is starting.
18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
I think we can agree Jesus has given us the responsibility and commissioned us to “go and make disciples”, but what does that actually look like? Have you made a disciple lately? I believe deep down inside ourselves we all want to make disciples. If you are a believer and follower of Christ, the Spirit pushes us towards it.
How many of us actually feel equipped to do go and make a disciple? I know I didn’t, and I fumbled my way through things so many times. It does not need to be scary or intimidating. I want to be able to equip each and every one you to make a disciple when the opportunity presents itself. I know that through this class you will be given the tools and confidence to go and make disciples. The plan for this is to be a 6 week class, but I may need a little grace in that time frame. Once we know who is attending, we will send out another email as to which room the class will be held in.
If you are ready to be activated and equipped, consider joining me Wednesday evenings for discipleship classes,
simply sign up below or contact Craig Pederson.
Women's Bible Study
There are 66 books of the Bible that may seem disconnected at first glance. But the whole Bible-from Genesis through Revelation- connects as one beautiful seamless thread and applies to current events of today. Explore with us as we learn how scripture is timeless and our God is unchanging.
The 8 week study will include a brief video, discussion, and short summary applicable to living out God's promises with confidence. Together we will learn how the Bible is as relevant now as it has ever been.
Please join us from 6:30-7:30 pm on Wednesday nights in Room 12 or East room (upper level of the Education wing).
If you are interested in the Seamless Bible study, simply sign up below so we can get an idea of who is joining us.
