His venture into this role came on the heels of 35 years of experience in pastoral leadership in Michigan, Wisconsin and Iowa. A variety of ministry experiences and having lead churches through different seasons of ministry prepared him to partner with churches in transition to help navigate the spiritual and emotional impact of change with intentionality, courage and grace. Van and his wife Terry have been married for over 40 years. Terry works as a Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist in hospitals and clinics. She currently shares time as a float tech in 3 different NW hospital/clinic facilities.
