Children's Worship

"Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it." Proverbs 22:6

​This is our belief at FRC and the reason we offer two different forms of worship for our youngest children.
​  
​At FRC, we want even the littlest ones to understand and  experience God and all that he can do for them.

Sprouts

Ages 2 - Pre K
Sunday Mornings during Worship
September through May

Why Sprouts:

• ​A fast paced, well planned program that reaches kids where they are at
• Music, singing, dance, and play where the kids creatively explore the stories in God's word as well as principles of daily living
• It is more than just a place for kids to go until they can "sit still" in church
• A place where kids can make lifelong friendships and learn about putting others first
• Kids are like sponges, they will soak in what you give them and we hope to give them the love of Jesus
• We work not only on the truths of God's word, but also with letters, colors, season, family dynamics as well as feelings

At Sprouts our goal is that the kids might hide God's word in their hearts and grow into a relationship with Him.

Children & Worship

Ages K - 2nd Grade
​Sunday mornings during worship
​September through May

Why Children & Worship:

• Children are dismissed before the sermon during the worship service
• ​Teach children foundational stories from the Bible that are repeated each year.
• The stories teach about God, His son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit as they are introduced to people God called and used in the Bible
• This time is organized to reflect what adults are experiencing in church. 
• Each week, there is a greeting, worship through song, hearing of God's word in story form with props, reading from the Bible, responding to God's word through age appropriate activities, prayer, and a parting blessing
• Children & Worship lays the ground work for children to experience worship in a developmentally appropriate way
